Born in 1959 Coming from Rock music, he turns to the jazz by discovering Elvin Jones and Roy Haynes. From Rock music, he kept the energy and the power, developing a way of playing based on a polyrythmic style, listening and sense of the melody. Very opened, he finds easily his place in the improvised music, in a Big Band playing swing or funk as well. Well known musicians as Jean Pierre Llabador or Louis Petrucciani regularly call him as a sideman in their projects. Member of "Mezcal Jazz Unit" since 1992. Percussionis the creation 2006 "Don Quichotte/Orson Welles" (cinema-theater) Roberto Tricari Company , featuring Didier Flamand. Ecclectic musician, he also performs regularly with "Truck Stop", country music et "Coriandre",occitan trad. music. Member of "La Tribu" , funk big band since 1999 Concerts in Great Britain with "J.Pierre Llabrador 5tet" in 1997. Concerts in Italy & Portugal with the group "Gypsyland", 1996-97. Member of the "Michel Muñoz Trio","Black foot" (Munoz/Llabador). Concerts with the groups "Scatitude", "Slax 5tet", "Swing" from 1990 to 97. Took part to the "Zappa Project" creation of Armand Marcos 1995. Concerts with Christine Flowers "Colors & Light" (funk) 1987 -90. Concerts in France with "La Compagnie du Jazz" (swing) 1989-91. Concerts in France (Francofolies 86), francophone countries with "Traction Ailleurs" (songs) 1984-87.
